I've been reading loads of WIP posts that also feature the books people are reading.
And everyone seems to be reading on a Kindle.
I havent gone down the Kindle route because I'm told that it isnt worth it. Hmmmmm.......
These are the books I'm currently reading. :(
mmmmmmm zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
But I'm considering treating myself to a Kindle when all the hard work is over and I'm a dyslexia specialist. I'm just not sure I'd make much use of it. I have a massive book shelf full of books I havent read yet.
Is it worth it??? Do you Kindle??
I don't kindle so can't help with that. Are you training as a dyslexia tutor? How's it going? Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes I am. I'm loving it and finding it really intersting but it's SO much work. So much paperwork and one:one stuff i have to fit in before the deadline. I'm rubbish with deadlines. :(
DeleteI am thinking about getting one, I think it would make you read much more things :)
ReplyDeleteI have a nook and I love it. I like the Kindle features but I still like Barnes and Noble. Plus I have bought so many books from there it made sense to stick with their ereader. I have heard great things with the Kindle though so chose whichever brand you want to buy your books from. I still buy books but the ereader has such awesome instant gratification and ease of carrying around one device versus a lot of books.
ReplyDeleteI just saw your sweet comment on my blog--thank you! I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and, as someone who was VERY much against ever owning one, I absolutely LOVE it. For me it has been worth every penny, especially the Fire because it's like a much less expensive version of an iPad with the Internet features. If you're a reader then I'd look into it! :)
ReplyDeleteI love my kindle!!! I couldn't live without it. Not only do I use it for books I also save my pdf patterns on it so I always have then to hand when I need them. There are hundreds if not thousands of free books. I haven't got a kindle fire as I suffer from migraines and I love the fact the when you have a normal kindle the brighter the light the more you can read it. When I go on holiday I used to take a couple of books with me. Instead of that bulk i just take my kindle. Don't get me wrong I still have my books. I will always need a bath book & I love craft books. If I am following instructions i do prefer a book.
ReplyDeleteI use the Kindle app on my phone (a large screened Samsung Galaxy S2) and really like the whole package. I've been reading knitting mags and collecting knitting apps too.
